Clear cache and refresh? You shouldn't have to log in to anything else. This was easy for me to set up because I work there. You want to set up something else, knock yourself out.
I hardly think using a chat aggregator is "giving away account information". I'd go nuts without one. But in any case, the question is moot because you don't have to log in to anything to use it.
