Dear friends, Propagation is one of the most important parts of any Mission. Our goal is to get at least 1,000 members, who will join BM fulltime in 2010-2012 AD & at least 50,000 members, who will contribute financially on regular basis.
Right now, we have more than 100 future fulltime members (See here http://groups.yahoo.com/group/bharatudaymission/database ) & more than 1800 total members. So, we have a very long way to go in our Propagation Compaign. All members are strongly urged to take some of the following extremely useful steps to propagate Bharat Uday Mission all over India & among NRIs in the world: (a) Post notices on all notice-boards of your institute about BM, asking motivated people to join it, every year at the time when fresh entrants to the institute join - one of the fastest and most efficient ways to reach like-minded youths. Do it for other colleges of your institute's location by targeting one college at one time (e.g. post notices on one college per 2 weeks or 1 month or so). Coordinate this with other members of BM at your institute in this action. (b) Post notices on all notice-boards of all colleges at your residential city or town, whenever you go home. The goal of above two steps is to reach to students of all colleges in India in all cities and major towns. (c) Give advertisement in newspapers and magazines - one of the fastest and most efficient ways to reach like-minded youths. How: (1) Professional members of BM can form a group among themselves and can put together individual contribution of money from all members of that group and give advertisement in a newspaper or magazine regularly, say once every month or two months. (2) Members of a particular chapter can raise the money among members of that chapter and do the same as in (1). After doing this update this information in the database "Newspaper", so that there is no duplication of efforts and other members can also get the enthusiasm to do the same. (d) Mail the information about BM to members of like-minded organizations or individuals and put ( must do step ) this information at our group's Database "Persons to be contacted" or "NGOs contacted", so that there is no spamming - once a mail has been sent to members of any NGO or any individual, no member should do so again till one year of this action, or BM will become a joke for them due to spamming. - a good way to propagate BM. (e) Give information about BM by posting messages in various e-forums and newsgroup, by putting info. about BM in your mail-signatures for all mail-ids and give links on homepage. - a good way to propagate BM. (f) Through words of mouth, information about BM should be spread to the friends and relatives - kindly use this only for socially-sensitive persons otherwise it will be sheer loss of precious time, energy and enthusiasm. (g) BM volunteers can present free seminars in their areas of expertise in engineering colleges. In the End of the presentation, they will have a slide on BM and its activities.
