If I were a prime minister, I would stress on strong national defense,
strong national security, integrity, secured borders, strong economy,
strict environmental policies, free market solutions, less government
spending, etc.
Here are my thoughts on various issues..
1. National Security (Topmost priority)
1. Tough laws to preserve Indian culture and Indian heritage 2.
Tough punishment for forcible conversions or conversion by deceipt 3.
Multi-purpose National Identity Cards for all law-abiding citizens 4.
Create proper infrastructure to deal with internal terrorism. 5.
Social Security Number scheme to devise a national database 6.
Creation of Department of Homeland security and/or National Security
7. More power to police to pre-empt any terrorist activities 8. Death
penalty to terrorists. Fast track courts to deal with such cases.

1. Constitution Amendment
1. Propose a 3-party national party system and to develop a system
that doesn't need the support of other parties to run the
government. (In US, they have a 2-party system, which of course, is not
sufficient. People are looking for 3rd alternative, as both Republicans
and Democrats are similar in some aspects) 2. Remove flaws from the
current Indian constitution. 3. NO regional parties. (The regional
parties today often blackmail the national parties and are a great
threat to the existence and future of the country. In US, there is no
regional party, which is why they do not have any such issues) 4.
People should be able to choose their PM directly. 5. Make the
election process simple this includes general elections, party
elections, etc. 6. Encourage young, honest, virtuous and patriotic
people to join politics 7. Set up colleges for imparting political
education. This course should include topics such as ethics, patriotism,
morality, responsibility, vision, and development of leadership,
communication and administrative skills. Such colleges can serve as a
factory to generate great patriotic leaders. Such courses should be
mandatory for those contesting elections. 8. Barr the "goondas" or
anti-nationals or anti-national parties from entering politics. Set up
minimal standards for qualification to be an MP age, education,
background, etc. 9. Election Commission (EC) should be totally
independent from the Govt 10. EC should be authorized to review and
approve election agendas of all the political parties 11. Strict laws
to deal with parties focusing on the appeasement of a particular section
of society 12. Set up independent Commission to rate the performance
of the MPs. 13. Salary for the MPs tied to their performance 14. If
the MPs commit any illegal or unethical acts and if proved guilty,
revoke their "electable" status. 15. "Code of Conduct"
for all parties and all politicians. 16. Prohibit the politicians on
dividing the people on the basis of religion, caste, language, region,
etc. Harsh punishment for those who try to divide and rule, and for
traitors and anti-nationals.
1. Environment
1. Energy independence - Encourage alternative energy research and
explore alternate resources 2. Minimize foreign oil import,
especially from Middle-Eastern countries 3. Strict laws to control
pollution 4. Reforestration 5. Strict standards for polluters
6. Create awareness among people to preserve valuable resources such as
food, water, etc. 7. Plan for creating more water resources 8. Jai
Jawan, Jai Kisan Do everything best to encourage and appreciate
Security personnel (Military, BSF, CPRF, Commandos, Police, etc) and
farmers.

1. Create awareness among people for population control 2.
Introduce strict population control laws No more than 2 children
per couple. Harsh punishment for those who go for more than 2. Encourage
only 1 child per family. 3. Introduce a common civil code 4.
Removal of reservations of all kinds from all the sectors
constitution, govt, education, etc. Instead, introduce scholarship-based
program in the education. There should be no reservation of any kind any
where. Amend the constitution to remove this. All Indians are equal (In
developed coutries, there is no such garbage system) 5. Setup a
commission to identify issues and plan a long-term solution of all kinds
of problems 6. Tough laws to deal with domestic crimes 7. Make the
police force more professional, corruption-free, and modern. 8. No
majority-minority statuses. All Indians are equal, hence no need of
minority commission. 9. Make the process of people-to-politician
communication simple. People should easily reach their MPs for any
issues or concerns. 10. Encourage other sports and appreciate other
sports players
1. Media
1. Revoke the license of anti-national media 2. Investigate the
funding of the media 3. Ask them to publish encouraging news,
instead of publishing garbage
1. Service Sectors
1. Make the govt services professional and corruption-free 2.
Privatization of non-functional services 3. Set up a body to overlook
the functionality of all the service sectors govt, corporate,
private, etc. 4. Minimize govt spending. Scrap all the programs that
are waste.

2. Secured borders
3. Strong and powerful national defense
4. Strict laws for entry and exit of foreign nationals
5. Very restricted entries for Pakistanis or Bangladeshis or other
terror-sponsoring countries
6. Sound foreign policy that would allow us to deal with external
enemies or threats
