Dear Friends,
It is reliably learnt that MCD is making an effort to erase the posters from
all over Delhi tomorrow.
All citizens of Delhi ( men, women, children, professionals and all able
bodied persons) must make use of this opportunity and remove the posters
from their area to make Delhi POSTER FREE.
DU elections are in the next coming days.
Every single student of DU has an access to a computer. The present day
students should utilise the services available by various web sites / social
sites for convassing about their candidates. Defacing of any property is a
punishable offence. This is also not permitted under the Lyngdoh Committee
Recommendations and SC has approved these. The Govt / citizens / parents /
University and college authorities must unite together to prevent this
menace.
Sticking of posters, banners, wall-writings on the properties in public
view, is violative of the provisions of Delhi Prevention of Defacement of
Property Act, 2007 (which has come into force w.e.f. 01.04.2009) and is a
cognizable offence.

*Please spread the message to all friends / relatives in Delhi. Involve your
chowkidars, drivers helps and all other persons working for you in this
massive effort.*

regards.
