Dear Friends,

and all those who come in your contact.
It is learnt that MCD is regularly removing the illegal
posters / banners / hoardings. But it is a herculean task and cannot be
accomplished unless all of us are involved in some way or the other.
The winter is almost over and with this the morning dew
shall also reduce which helps in making the posters soggy for easy removal.
Hence, an *urgent action* is requested.
I, therefore, request you all to help in removing this
menace by,
1. Removing the posters wherever you notice. (My wife and
I have personally removed over
400 posters since August 2009.)
2. If you notice a new poster / banner / hoarding, please
take a photograph with your mobile
and email it to the DCP of the area with a copy to me
giving the location of the poster.
Email ID of the DCPs is available at the Police website *
www.delhipolice.nic.in *. It is
understood that Commissioner of Police has issued suitable
instructions to all concerned to
file a FIR on such complaints from the citizens.
3. In case, you are unable to remove a poster etc, please inform the
concerned DC of the MCD
Zone with a copy to me.
4. *Pl forward this mail to all your friends and relatives in Delhi.*
*5. Pl motivate and involve your plumber, electrician, carpenter, painter,
mechanic, maids,*
* Safaikaramcharies, security guards and all such helps.*
*6. Display the Logo, “ REMOVE POSTERS” on your vehicles.*

* SPREADING THIS MESSAGE TO EVERY CITIZEN OF DELHI.*
