The role and importance of Hindi Films in Indian society can hardly be
overlooked. We all agree that this has become an integral part of our
thought. With this perspective in mind.
These are the 25 films ranked in their order of influence by me as the
Moderator of Chalchitra Bharat. The term "influential is supposed to
incorporate every such factor that makes a film great, remarkable,
important, long-lasting and relevant. Merriam Webster defines
influential as-" the power or capacity of causing an effect in indirect
or intangible ways". Almost the same concept has been taken up here.
Though the author has tried to bring in as many extraneous factors and
information in consideration before ranking this order, but then finally
this ranking is based on an individual perspective and hence is liable
to many discripancies, individual influence and inconsistencies.
