Hmmm...maybe I don't get it.

As it stands, I have a well-thought-out organizational scheme for my  
pdf/djvu/xxx document pile (which may appear to be modeled on chaos  
to the uninitiated, but that's beyond the scope of this msg or  
current psychology practices).  My .bib files live in one directory,  
and the the docs themselves live "nearby".

What I want is the "links" to point to where they are, not to where  
the programmer moves them.

Am I missing the big picture?
