Greetings all

I have been happy to serve as the release engineer and would like to keep doing
so. Nonetheless, I hope there is someone else waiting in the wings who is ready
to take on the job. At this point, every second I spend doing something other
than writing up my research, including time spent sleeping, is a lost
opportunity. I am up for promotion review in the not-too-distant future.

You can do the job if you can do relatively simple command-line operations and
have an svn client you know how to use. Christiaan's instructions are quite
clear. It doesn't take that long, maybe an hour total at most, and if you
really focused, less than that. It's very satisfying and you do learn a good
deal.

I will stay on until someone else is able to step up. I hope that is soon
however.

Best to all

Adam
