This is related to an annoying bug on the latest releases, that was already 
fixed in the nightly builds. The problem is that the Last Import group is not 
inserted in the correct (first) location. And whenever you import, the code is 
trying to access the wrong group to update it, and chokes. A way to work around 
this for now is to rename your smart groups so they are always sorted after the 
Last import group (make sure the first letter is larger than L). Or download a 
recent nightly build.
