We did not change anything. It is not completely clear to me, but the resizing 
of the file thumbnails depends on the view settings for that view. If you go to 
the contextual menu, you can choose between 3 different view settings (row, 
column, or grid) that determine how the thumbnails are (auto) sized. Perhaps 
you have changed that setting by accident at some point?
