I'm building a set of wheels using Phil Wood touring hubs - the seven speed freewheel type. The spokes I planned on using are the Wheelsmith DB14 (14GA-16GA-14GA). When insterted into the hub the spoke head "wobbles about". Does this matter? Should I me using different spokes? I'd rather not use a heavier guage spoke. I'm 200 lbs and plan to use the wheels for light touring.
