Frankly speaking, all steel frame bikes are going to look "a lot" alike. Minor details -- cantilever bosses, various braze-ons, even horizontal dropouts -- don't change the appearance of the bike much. For that matter, a lugged frame and a welded frame are going to look very similar. Twenty years ago, when most bikes were made of steel, frames certainly LOOKED similar to one another. Back then, people were much less likely to assume that because two bikes looked similar, they would ride the same. Practically speaking, a stripped-down Colnago from 1985 looks pretty darned similar to a Schwinn Traveler of the same era. I guess that since there are so few manufacturers of steel frames these days, it's easy to jump to the conclusion that two bikes will have the same characteristics. But looking at the geometries of the Bianchi and the Pake, one can see they are clearly not the same.
