Thank Peter for the reply. I thought, mistakenly, that the wear of anodization is a sign that the cranks have been fatigued and their strength compromised. At 155 pounds and more of a spinner than masher, I am fairly easy on my equipment. I will just check for cracks in the cranks as part of my regular maintenance. I will be ordering some new chainrings soon.
