I've had a set of the Brooks grips on albatross bars on my Xtracycle, and I really like them. The leather washers do not seem to shift around much at all, and I like the diameter of the grip. It also feels much better on the hands than a rubber grip and a little more grippy than cork grips.
The only problem I've had is the spokes holding the grips together loosen up occasionally. It looks like they ship with some sort of loctite on the spoke nipples that hold them on, and I could take them off and put some more on, but I just haven't gotten around to that. Oh, the little leather discs at the end of the grips shrank and fell out. It's just a decorative touch, but I was sorry to loose them. Not an issue if you have barend shifters. I'd give the Brooks grips an 8 out of 10. Paul B.
