Consider used tools. After watching a while, I scored a Park TS-2 and a PCS-1 on craigslist for a fraction of the new price. On the other hand, I bought a DAG-1 and a BO-1 and other smaller tools new (usually from Lickton's) because they don't turn up as often or in good condition on the used market.
