I use Bigloo to implement an Internet service server where more than
5000 users will be connected to...
I thought that the co-routines was more efficient to handle a such
number of connection. I have implemented pthreads that run a limited
number of co-routines...
Do you think that it could be efficient to switch entirely in pthread?

Normally yes. Please note that fthread are not being developed anymore.
Although different, I would recommend to use pthread instead.
