I was unable to download a copy of the source files from
ftp://ftp-sop.inria.fr/indes/fp/Bigloo/bigloo4.2c.tar.gz

Also (maybe I overlooked it), I could not find any way to download the
sources
using any version control system.

I would maybe start doing in little pieces, get the core functionality
working and then move on to the big things.
Also as the LLVM API keeps on changing, I would like to keep it up to
date to
the current version.
