Hello, Even understanding why, given the underlying implementation details, I still find it surprising that #z123 (the bignum representation of 123) hashes to a different value than 123. Would we be asking for problems if get-hashnumber simply returned its value as long if less than the max value of a long. This would bring its behavior into line with the rest of the supported integer types. What do people think?
