Some news about the Bigloo development...
After a long period of several years where I have been totally swamped
with all sort of administrative duties, I'm somehow back to business and
I will be able to spend much more time working on Bigloo and Hop. It is
then time to make some changes :-)
As you have noticed, Bigloo4.3c is now out. This version is mostly a bug
fix release, in particular, the public bootstrapping procedure, used to
bootstrap on github, has been significantly fixed and simplified. It
should now be much easier to use and install the Bigloo github version.
>From now on we will use a different release numbering method and we will
use git branches differently. This should let us avoid the confusion of
several releases with apparently the same name or same version
number. That is,
- there will be a stable branch (currently "4.3c") where the bug
fixes will go,
- and there will be a development branch ("master") where the new features
will be developed.
As much as possible, it would be nice if the bug report could be
submitted to the github web site instead of using this mailing
list. Using github will make it easier to keep track of open and solved
issues.
