Two things:

please add mrdocs as a maintainer along with bmahe.  These are our obs 
logins.

@andrew  We already have thrift in OBS, so it is in OBS terms, a copy 
paste aka osc copypac.

I'll do the needed bits next week early when I am back in CA.
