Now that Hadoop 0.23 has incorporate some of the proposed changes to making the
layout flexible, we no longer need the kind of hacks on which we used to rely.
The proposed patch accomplishes an almost complete clean split between hadoop
subpackages (treating them as independent projects) with the following 2
exceptions:
# libexec still need to be a common location (currently
/usr/lib/hadoop/libexec)
# configuration files still need to be in a common location (currently
/etc/hadoop/conf)
