Amazingly enough (at least according to my interpretation of
http://www.debian.org/doc/debian-policy/ch-source.html#s-substvars) it is
completely impossible to have the following 6 characters in Deb's package
description:

${VAR}
{noformat}
Oozie is one package that wants it. At this point my only recourse is to change
it into something else (even though it will be slightly less useful as far as
Oozie is concerned)
