Roman Shaposhnik updated BIGTOP-633: ------------------------------------ Summary: bigtop-utils packages should depend on 'which' (was: Bigtop-packaged HBase packages should depend on 'which') 'which' usage is pervasive in the scripts of Hadoop ecosystem projects. I'm pretty sure that we also use it in bigtop-utils. Given that in Bigtop everything depends on bigtop-utils we can solve the problem of making sure that which is installed by making it a dependency of bigtop-utils package. > bigtop-utils packages should depend on 'which' > ---------------------------------------------- > > Key: BIGTOP-633 > URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/BIGTOP-633 > Project: Bigtop > Issue Type: Bug > Components: RPM > Affects Versions: 0.3.0 > Reporter: Philip Zeyliger > Assignee: Roman Shaposhnik > > I didn't think it was possible to have a machine without which, but our shell > scripts (in this case, HBase's) use which.
