Bike Fed received notice of a public meeting regarding a proposed road design for Pheasant .Branch Rd in Middleton. Please mark you calendars if this is a road you use. It is one of the only remaining "escape routes" in the NW quadrant of the metro area.
Monday, Feb 24 7-8 pm Middleton City Hall Council Chambers 7426 Hubbard Ave The elements they will be looking at are: * Inclusion of shared bike lanes * Walkway options * Curve options * Anticipated tree survivability Please note that bike lanes are not guaranteed, nor are any of the other elements set in stone. This is an opportunity to have your comments, ideas and concerns heard. There seems to be some question whether it will be possible to add bike lanes and/or sidewalks and still save the trees in the corridor.
