If some wobbly alders (like mine - Gruber) voted against the Mayor's budget not allowing for adequate (more) funds for Metro in the first place than maybe the TPC vote would have surely appeared more responsible. As it is, I believe it was the only reasonable choice. It would have been callous to vote a 33% increase in bus fares and unsustainable to boot.
