I thought that the bike/bus lane was still labelled as such and that the exclusive bike lane idea was abandoned (in perpetuity?) after about a week when it became clear that it would make things more dangerous for cyclists there. Cars always drive in the bike/bus lane because either they are turning right or they haven't realized that cars aren't supposed to travel in that lane. Madison is full of those odd-ball traffic markers that only locals could reasonably be expected to obey.

Is anyone familiar with the current or future status of the (now non- existent) bike lane on the capitol square? Weekend drivers are now using both lanes like normal, and don't seem to understand why I'm claiming a lane. My friends and I miss the bike/bus lane signs..._______________________________________________
