On March 24, 5:00 PM, Room 260 of the Municipal Bldg, the Ped/Bike/Motor
Vehicle Commission (PBMVC) will take up an item that was introduced tonight
at the Council meeting: "Approving Plans, Specifications, And Schedule Of
Assessments For Camden Road Street Assessment District - 2009." Sounds all
very boring, but apparently a group of residents don't want sidewalks on
this street. If you would like to view the current documents, the link is
below, but there may be additional attachments as the date approaches.

If you are in favor of good walking environments, and especially if you live
in the area or know someone who does, please make sure that you submit
comments or attend the meeting. The same item will be taken up by the Board
of Public Works on April 1, 4:30 PM in Room 108 of the City-County Bldg.

I do not have confirmation on this, but I have been told that some of the
opponents do not want walking to be easy for certain nearby residents and
groups. I will leave that to your imagination.

These sidewalks are supported by the schools and many residents because they
want people to be able to walk, especially vulnerable users.

Please pass this on or get involved!

Robbie
