Riding with middle school students is fun. No seriously it is. For about 4- 5 years now ,6th graders at Whitehorse Middle School, behind Olbrich Gardens, bicycle around Lake Monona. They get pledges like people do for charity rides which cover their extras for the year. It's a lot more fun than selling frozen cookie dough. We'd love to have anyone help out with the ride.
The classes are divided into two groups. One group rides on September 29th and wants to be on the road by 8:15 ( school starts at 7:45) .
