It's nice to know that sending feedback about problems in Google's
bike routing really does help - if not immediately.
I got a note from them this morning that they had added the Tocora cut-
through (from Segoe to Science Drive). Furthermore, they have dropped
the Mineral Point Road (east of Whitney Way) from their suggested
routes. Of course, there are still problems. For example, their
preferred route from Midvale Heights to the intersection of Research
Park and Odana Road goes along Segoe Road and Tokay and then along the
(occasionally washed out) "nature" footpath from Tokay to Research
Park Blvd.
