Am I to understand that the city of Madison has decided to close the bike lane (or worse yet, substitute cars for bikes in our lane) because ATC, one of the state's biggest pollution-promoting companies, wants to extend its transmission lines to hasten global warming? Was the bicycling community consulted on this? Or is this what trying to get Platinum status does to the bicycling community? Mayor Pave, you'd better go back to Europe for more training. This is an insult!
