At the Monday Bassett Neighborhood meeting the foloowing item will be added to the agenda: As part of the reconstruction of Fairchild and Doty Streets some bike lane enhancements have been proposed. This includes a contra flow lane on the 100 block of W. Main and a "floating bike lane" on Fairchild. The floating bike lane would shift during rush hour when the parking lane is used for traffic. Overhead signals would indicate current lane markings. The attached photos are an example from Lexington Kentucky. Eric Dundee from city staff will join us to provide more details.
