The Yahara Parkway Path will be closed to all bike and pedestrian traffic between the Union Pacific Railroad tracks and E Main Street from Monday, August 20, through Thursday, August 23. Madison Gas & Electric will be working on their overhead switch equipment next to the path and has to close the path for safety reasons. Bicyclists are asked to either walk their bikes on the adjacent sidewalk or detour around the area via E Main Street, Dickinson Street and the Capital City Path.
