I went to ProWalk ProBike, too, but I won't be at this meeting because I will
be at the Grand Opening of the new University Bicycle Resource Center in the
Helen C White garage:

Subject: [Bikies] This Thur, Sept 27,7: 15 PM - Pro Walk/Pro Bike/Pro Place
share out

Sorry! I copied the text from Facebook, and did not note that the date and
time were not included.

A few Madison folks traveled to Long Beach, CA, to join the international
conversation about creating livable communities that include ample
opportunities for biking and walking and transit use. We'd love to share
what we learned and hear what others are thinking about this general topic.
What's next? How can we take Madison to the next level? What IS the next
level? Who is missing in this movement and what can we do about it? We won't
come up with THE answers, but hopefully individuals can identify a couple of
actions to work on. Everyone is invited.

Thursday, 9/27 7:15 - 9 pm.

Location: Union South Prairie Fire seating area on the Main Floor.

Union South is at 1308 Dayton St, but the easiest way to find this seating
area is to enter the building at the entrance nearest to the corner of
Randall St and Campus Dr/W. Johnson St. As you wander around looking for it,
just leave your helmet on and shout "on your left" over and over until we
find you/you find us. I have no secret tips for bike parking there...there
are a lot of racks, but they're often full.
