HI All?I was just on my way home heading west on Hammersley,
near Whitcomb,
when a vehicle attempted to pass me on the right. It surprised
me, as there
was a bicyclist occupying the bike lane. He was hit and is
fortunately Ok,
other than a few scrapes and a high adrenaline level. I stopped
and got out,
only to be surprised again, (maybe I?m na?ve), as the vehicle
that hit him
was hauling ass down the road. I followed, called 911, etc.,
but they had a
head start, and I lost them. The vehicle was a maroon sedan with (of
course) no plates on the back. Camry, Chevy Malibu-ish. There
were two black
youths inside. Keep your eyes peeled please. And be on guard even when
riding in the bike lane.
