The trail will be closed in the City of Fitchburg from the Longford Terrace underpass west to Edenberry Street, including all spur trails. West bound cyclists can access the Capital City Trail by traveling southwest on Longford Terrace, turning right on Stamford Terrace and again right on Edenberry Street to the trail intersection at Chicory Meadow Park. East bound cyclists would head south on Edenberry Street at Chicory Meadow Park, turn left on Stamford Terrace and left on Longford Terrace to the underpass spur trail. All trail users will be directed to proceed with caution on the spur trail between Longford Terrace and the Capital City Trail where they may encounter slow moving construction vehicles.
