As far as I know, there is no group doing ghost bikes. I'm pretty sure the one at Baldwin and Wilson was put there by some friends of the victim. Junky bikes, white paint, plastic flowers, and a cheap lock aren't hard to find. In most cities, the ghost bike is accompanied by a sign with the date of the crash.
If anyone organizes a ride of remembrance, I would like to suggest that it pass by one or both crash sites. Actually viewing the location and also making drivers, neighbors, and employees in the area aware of the need to share the road/pay attention is important. The crash site on the north side of Madison would probably be easier and would attract more people - both participants and viewers. The crash site on Hwy M is more remote and a highway, so a bit more intimidating as a venue for a slow ride.
