Subject: [Bikies] Folks interested in music along bike paths?

I am posting this for someone else. If you are interested in this event or more
information, please contact Jon directly. I did highlight the parts that
addresses the bike path connection.

Note that I don't think his couple of suggestions are the only acceptable
locations. There are lots of bike venues in Madison!

I am volunteering with Make Music Madison.
www.makemusicmadison.org
We are running an event on the summer solstice that will have at least 100
outdoor spots where musicians will be performing around Madison. The idea is
that you won't be able to go anywhere in Madison on June 21st without seeing
some live music. My job is to line up the 100 venues. So far I have 29. I was
thinking it would be nice to pick some venue spots along the bike paths. For
example near the buffalo sculptures on the SW path, or near the convention
center. In order to run a venue all you have to do is sign up at our website
and then choose the performers you want from those who have signed up as
artists. Can you help me identify individuals who would be willing to set up
bike path venues? I have lots more detail on what is involved, but its not a
whole lot of work.
