Please help!

Governor Walker's proposed Transportation Budget would cut funding for
transit, walking, bicycling, and other non-automotive modes of community
access - while significantly boosting spending (and debt) for a handful of
state highway projects. The Governor also proposes that transit be removed
from the Transportation Fund and put it into the General Fund, where it
would have to compete with police, fire, education, and so on. Apparently
if you ain't driving, it don't count as "transportation".

Transit systems and operators across the state are facing major cut-backs,
shut-downs, even bankruptcy. Result: a large and growing minority of
Wisconsin citizens would lose access to work, health care, shopping,
education, and other needs.
