Hi Bikies, We're hosting an all women's CycloFemme ride (anyone who chooses to identify as a woman, we're trans friendly) on Mother's Day. That's Sunday May 12th. The ride starts and ends at the Froth House at 11 N. Allen St. The ride itself is* free*, but we suggest bringing cash to pay for using the Cap City Trail as it's part of our 18 mile loop.
The ride is geared to all levels of riders and will be fun/social. We expect to leave the Froth at 9am and we'll have some bike pumps, etc. available in case this happens to be some ladies first ride of the season. After the ride is over, we're going to have a little gathering at the Froth house for food, coffee, possibly some live music, and a raffle. We have goodies from Saris, CycleOps, Castelli, Po Campo, Park Tool, Slime, and a few other companies. We're hoping for nice weather so we can have the gathering in the Froth House's garden in the back of the building. We'll bring some extra bike parking as there aren't many racks in the area. The bike thief from the video has been apprehended, from my understanding. It was on NBC 15 a week or so ago. Not sure if that info was put out there to the public or not. Hopefully the bike has been recovered as well, but if not we'll keep an eye out!
