I could be very wrong but maybe the passing of Victor Ray Dorn has
something to do with the closing (

Shoot! I grew up with a local Dorn Paint & Hardware (Shorewood) supplying
me all of the "necessities" of youth (fishing licenses and gear and much
more). And I ALWAYS preferred to spend my money as an adult (mostly on
Cottage Grove Rd) for those home keep-up necessities always in demand.

Are the other Dorns stores closing?
