WHOA!! I don't know what the bikies admin thinks about this, but it was COMPLETELY uncool to send a 2.3MB attachment to every recipient on a large email list. Many lists disable attachment capability to avoid this kind of abuse, not sure why that kind of proection is not (yet?) enabled on bikies. IMHO, the more appropriate method would have been to post the documents on a website such as dropbox-type or a photo-sharing site and provide interested subscribers with a URL to be able to view and/or download the items. I'm not in any way suggesting bad intentions on the part of the sender or disputing the value and appropriateness of the content, only the unacceptable imposition on user mailboxes of such a large attachment (or, indeed, of ANY kind of attachment to a mass mailing list, because of the potential security concerns, such as unsuspecting transmission of malicious files.) Friends don't let friends practise unsafe computing :-) _______________________________________________ Bikies mailing list [email protected] http://lists.danenet.org/listinfo.cgi/bikies-danenet.org
