Access to the Howard Temin Lakeshore Path at Limnology will be affected (but
not closed) starting Tuesday 9/17/13.

Concrete repairs to the walkway north of Limnology are required, so
pedestrians will be detoured south around the building (the same route
cyclists use to access the path).

Limnology's "loading dock" (such as it is) is also on the south side of
Limnology, and they often have to store boats there until they can be cleaned
(they can't move a boat from one lake to another without cleaning it -
otherwise they'd spread invasive species). So the normally narrow space will
likely be a crowded narrow space for the duration of the project (about two
days).

Please slow down and exercise caution as you share the path with others.

Subject: Pedestrian jogging path repairs (N Side of Limnology)

Starting Tuesday, Sept. 17, ProAxis LLC will perform concrete coating repairs
to the pedestrian jogging lane that runs along the lake on the north side of
the Limnology Building. These repairs are necessary to prevent continuing
concrete spalling on the underside of the structural slab over the boat
entrance to the building.

The contractor will be staged on the path on the west side of the building
(see attached staging plan). Signage will be placed at both ends of the
trail to divert pedestrian traffic around the south side of the building.
The work will take approximately two days.
