Sorry this is so late. Many meetings this week. In case you'd like to find
out what's up with a few things in town, tonight's Pedestrian/Bicycle/Motor
Vehicle Commission will be talking about these rather prominent
plans/studies and issues.

* OVERVIEW AND DISCUSSION OF ISSUES PERTAINING TO THE NEAR WEST SIDE
NEIGHBORHOODS AND UNIVERSITY AVENUE TRANSPORTATION STUDY (This is a study
of issues from Segoe to Breese Terrace. I have my own opinions about the
study, but for the moment I'll just leave those out.)

* Approving the conceptual plan and geometry for the State Street 700 & 800
Blocks Reconstruction Project (AKA "that part of State St that everyone
calls Library Mall.")

Spoiler alert: Looks like the above item means that people will be able to
bike legally brom Lake St to Park St on State St for the first time in
almost 35 years.

* Creating Section 12.167(2)(c) of the Madison General Ordinances to allow
bicycles to be ridden within the redesigned State Street Mall, effective
September 1, 2014

Also some smaller things that might be of interest to folks in specific
areas of the city.

Full agenda here, with various documents, attachments, etc.
