Motorless Motion is the latest venture by Roger Charly, owner of Budget Bicycle
stores and Machinery Row. The previous store you mention is before my time in
Madison, but it sounds like Roger must have bought the name with the Regent
buildings. I've talked with Isaac, future manager, who now manages Budget's
Specialty Store (and previously managed Willy Bike West) who says it will be a
road bike store. It may also have a restaurant/coffee shop, as yet to be
determined. They've done big structural changes, putting in a basement. The
layout is likely to be very different from Willy West.
I've not yet heard anything about opening date.
