Would have been fun to witness the bike art when we were within sight (I think) of something that looked like downtown Toronto. Interesting patterns and colors. On the way home westward from a week in the Ottawa area biking and hiking amid glorious fall color (and in OPEN national parks when "ours' were closed), we hit a Canadian Thanksgiving holiday (October 12-14) creeping traffic jam that began 30 miles east of Toronto and continued 20 miles west of the city. Though we were able to bail off the Hwy 17 freeway and actually get through the 50-mile strip in 3 hours, it was very tempting to hoist a bike off the rack and bike along the shoulder past the thousands and thousands of limping autos...
