Oh, you can do all of this with any phone out there now without the app. What is nice is that the app walks you through all of it. It prompts you to get pictures. It prompts you to look for witnesses, and then lets you record their statement. It neatly packages everything you need and prompts you for it at a time when you may be shaken up and may not think to do a few steps.
