Yes, the city has been dumping salt on the east-side and downtown paths as well, not all the time but a lot of the time. For as long as the city has been clearing the bike paths, we have been asking them to use the sand/salt mix rather than just salt. But it seems that isn't written down anywhere. I think it's worth bringing up again.
