Re: Bike videos. Usually all you need is something like a Go Pro as well as a GPS. That can be either a mounted unit like a Garmin eTrex or even a GPS cycling computer. You usually just need to pull the .gpx info from the ride file.
We use similar technology at Saris for our Virtual Training software. Users can create indoor riding routes using info from outdoor rides. You need to sync the video file with points along the route to make sure they show the route accordingly. It's very time consuming, but the end result is pretty neat. I believe it's all integrated with Google Earth. I'm not sure how that particular Dutch company does it, but it's probably similar.
