This article and picture does show something I really wish we could achieve here in Madison. I believe we could get better biker awareness by committing to paint bike lanes and stops with a single, CONSISTENT color, preferable a bright green. Many of the pedestrian crosswalks now are red, which I believe inspires caution and improves both awareness and safety. This is a fairly simple thing to make a big difference.
