Please attend the Personnel and Finance meeting at 5:30 in Room 251 in the City-County Building - you can *testify or just sign up in support* (write a note on your slip).* If you can't make it, please email. * This MAY be the last time you can speak to the county board before they vote on November 15th (no testimony allowed). There should be an amendment to restore $50,000 of the $90,000 we are losing (thank you Leland!) , but currently *we don't have a commitment for the votes.* Tell them that you expect the county to continue its 17 year partnership with the City and UW to assist Dane County tenants and landlords. Services to be cut include 1. Mediation at Small Claims Court 2. Information and Referral about Rights and Responsibilities 3. Housing Counseling and help finding housing in this tight rental market 4. Access to our Security Deposit Loan Fund 5.
